YOU HAVE THE POWER TO WALK ON WATER

As Christians, we live in a world full of phobias designed to stripe us of our true strength and powers. These phobias penetrate our subconscious mind and are used by Satan to create fearful followers of Christ.  Once fearful and weaken, doubt creeps in regarding our belief. We start to second guess ourselves as Christians, and we avoid anything that disrupt a secular comfort; forgetting we can do “all things if we believe”;(Mark 9:23), Including “Walking on Water”!
      The Bible illustrates the supernatural power you have as a Disciple of Christ to “walk on water”:
“ And straight away Jesus constrained his disciples to get in a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went into the mountain apart to pray” and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And Disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “ It is a spirit; and they cried out of fear! But straight away Jesus spoke unto them, saying, “be of good cheer”,”Ot is I,” be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, “ Lord, if it be thou, bid me come.” And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on water to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous,  he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying “ lord save me”! And  immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, “O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt”? (Mathew 14:22-31).
    Peter, like many Christians today, was overwhelmed by fear from the physical danger of sinking other realizing the supernatural powers Jesus had bestowed upon him to walk on water. Doubt, fear, and the lack of faith is a Christian what kryptonite is to Superman, designed to stripe you of your power and strength. 
  In essence, Christians have enormous powers that they fail to tap into because of their fears.  Fore it is written: “Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do(John 14:12).
The power to heal the sick; restore the sight of the blind; feed the masses; and let’s not forget, “walk on water,” is available to you when you cast your fears, when fear is no longer present, you will be able to tap into the power of the cross and perform greater works than He.
The power to walk on water, therefore, lies in your faith, and belief that you can.
